OUT of Respect
Thank you for joining lovebus events & design and the DC Center for the LGBT Community for the DC premiere of “OUT of Respect” a film by Tess Gallun on July 13, 2011. OUT of Respect highlights the experience of five LGBTQ youth in Milwaukee, WI. Thanks to BloomBars, 3222 11th Street NW, for hosting the screening and Q&A and discussion about some of the amazing work being done to address this issue within the LGBT community.
AIDS Walk Washington
Cold, rain, and threats of snow couldn’t stop the annual team lovebus, for AIDS Walk Washington, Saturday October 29, 2011. AIDS Walk Washington is a 5K fundraising walk and timed run benefiting and produced by Whitman-Walker Health, a non-profit community-based health organization which provides dependable, high-quality, comprehensive and accessible health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. The brave faced the weather, the smart supported from the comfort of home, and together we raised $2950 for Whitman-Walker.
